If you missed Saturday’s NYT Mini, you can find the answers here:

The NYT Mini is a quick and casual version of the larger, long-standing crossword puzzle in the New York Times. Most days, there are three to five clues in each direction on a 5×5 grid, but sometimes the puzzles can be bigger, especially on Saturdays.
Unlike its big sibling, the NYT Mini Crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or the NYT Games app. However, you’ll need a NYT Games subscription to access past puzzles in the archive.
The NYT Mini is a fun daily distraction that typically takes little time. I try to complete the standard weekday grid in under a minute. But sometimes, I can’t figure out one or two clues and need the answers.
To help you avoid that, here are the answers to today’s NYT Mini Crossword (spoilers ahead, of course):
NYT Mini Crossword Clues and Answers
ACROSS
- The 2019 flop film, whose Variety review started with “For some stars, nine lives might not be enough to forget their participation in this one…” – CATS
- Hawaiian greeting – ALOHA
- Wrinkle treatment – BOTOX
- Confusion – SNARL
- Pure joy – GLEE
DOWN
- Hard to stop them in the rain – CAB
- “___ a spider came / and sat beside her…” – ALONG
- Yoga – ASANA
- Spot for strolling along the beach – SHORE
- Rod with wheels – AXLE

It was definitely a fast-paced day. It took me about a minute, and I think the only answer that didn’t come to me immediately was “SNARL.” I felt like “SNAG” might be a more fitting word there, but oh well. Botox was easy here in 2025, though the newer trend, Ozempic, probably wouldn’t fit in this Mini.
