Apple appears to be one of its most useful AI tools blocked by apple apps. Writing tools, which is an Apple Intelligence feature, is not available for use in Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Threads and Messenger.
Apple’s writing tools include proofied, re -writing and summarizing text, which you can almost anywhere you can type in iOS 18. A long press in the text input field usually brings the feature, but not currently in any apps of the meta.

Given the history of sharp between the two companies – from the Apple device interoperability to the quarrel of the app store – it is not surprising that Meta will choose to keep Apple’s AI out of its apps. Meta has also rolled out its AI facilities on its platforms since then.
