Front Page Tech today unveiled the designs purported to be the actual design of the so-called highly wanted “iPhone 17 Air” model that is believed to be launched sometime this year.

In a video published today, Front Page Tech shared renders of what they believe will be the final design of the “iPhone 17 Air.” This ultra-slim device is expected to measure 5.5mm at its thinnest point, and the renders show a brand-new camera bar installed on the top part of the rear shell of the device. On the left side of the bar, there is a single rear camera, while on the right side, there’s a microphone and an LED camera flash.

The renders are in line with the alleged “iPhone 17 Air” shell that surfaced last month.

Last week, Front Page Tech also shared renders of the rumored “iPhone 17 Pro,” showing that the camera bar is apparently expected to extend to that device as well. Front Page Tech host Jon Prosser has been a well-known tech YouTuber for over a decade. Like many sources, his scripting has suggested a patchy last record with Apple rumors, comprising some hits and some misses. He was the first source to reveal the design of the AirTags months before their announcement in 2020.

He reported many verifiable details about the iPad mini 6, also six months ahead of its announcement. He and others were proven wrong again when there were rumors that the Apple Watch Series 7 had flat edges, although Apple may have tested such a design. Prosser claimed that iOS 19 would see a new camera app with a VisionOS-like design. The camera app reportedly includes translucent menus and buttons.

Anyhow, rumors surrounding designs will likely crop before the official announcement in September when Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series.
