In iOS 26, Apple updated the battery section of the Setting App, so that your iPhone usage affects the battery life and increasing the battery apps, to look at more deeply about it, as well as new battery management equipment.
At the top of the battery interface, your current battery and a readout of the time that you last charged. If your iphone is currently charging, it will tell you how much time remains till the full fee.
The use of the battery is no longer divided by 24 hours and 10 days, providing just a weekly view about the use of the average battery with Apple, as well as compare how much battery you are currently using compared to your specific average.
The new comparison feature will tell you if you are using more, the same, or low battery life than most days. This shows which apps use more batteries and how much, it makes it easier to tell what your battery is.
App batteries include specific details in use, such as you should allow you to explain whether an app had run for a long time in the background, had long on your screen, or more than normal information was sent.
You can tap back through the last 7 days, to see how many batteries you used in a given day, with a breakdown for active use and use of screen idol. It also shows when you charged and how long.
There is still a battery health section where you can see the charge cycle and maximum capacity and a charge limit section where you can limit charging to 80 percent. Apple also added a new power mode option where you can togle on low power mode or new adaptive power mode. Adaptive power mode suggests that when the iphone of use is higher than normal and the battery makes a small performance adjustment such as decreasing the display brightness to expand life.
These new battery features are available in Osios 26 and iPados 26, but Apple has not changed the Mac battery readout. IOS 26 is currently limited to developers, although a public beta is coming next month. IOS will be launched to the public in 26 September.
