Apple’s Beats brand is announcing another headphone collaboration today, this time teaming up with designer Sandy Liang for a limited-edition Solo 4 headphone collection.
Beats highlights Liang’s “playful, nostalgic aesthetic” and her “distinct, whimsical style,” featuring metallic silver Solo 4 headphones with a pink ribbon, hand-drawn by Liang, across the headband, and matching pink Beats “B” logo buttons on the ear cups.
Sandy Liang revealed, “I have always been fascinated with the coexistence of nostalgia and modernity, and working with Beats quite literally seems to bring that to life.” They are a cultural icon, and I wanted this collaboration to feel personal — something that connects work with a sense of playfulness and personality. I wanted it to feel like more than just headphones, but rather an accessory that brings joy.”
The custom packaging also features an embossed pink ribbon.

The Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones, launching in April 2024, will come with numerous audio-focused improvements, 50 hours of battery life, dynamic head tracking with personalized spatial audio, three connectivity modes (Bluetooth, USB-C, and 3.5mm), and much more.
For a promotional campaign surrounding the launch, Beats and Liang have teamed up with photographer Pia Riverola and model Amelia Gray. On Thursday, March 6, Liang will sit down with filmmaker Jenny Sui Wonders at Apple SoHo for a conversation on music + fashion at 6:30 PM as part of Apple’s “Today at Apple” retail programming series.

The Beats Solo 4 – Limited Edition Sandy Liang headphones are available starting today in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan on apple.com, as well as in limited quantities at Apple SoHo and Sandy Liang’s flagship store in New York City. They are priced at $199.99 in the U.S.
