For the Global Exhibition Awareness Day (GAAD) 2025, Google is announcing updates in Android (Expressive caption) and Chrome (page zoom).
Google offers expressive captions in December and an update allows the real -time captioning capacity when “people express themselves [by] Remove the voice of his words. “Examples include” Amaaazing Shots “and” Nooooooo “(instead of just” not “in the past).
Additionally, more sounds will now be identified, including whistle and throat cleaning. This update of AI-manufacturing capacity is rolling out in English for Android 15 and more in US, UK, Canada and Australia.

In Chrome for Android, the page zoom now lets you increase the size of the text “webpage layout or without affecting your browsing experience”. “Matching desktop chrome, it may apply to all pages or just specific sites. You can find” zoom “in the three-dot overflow menu.
On the desktop browser, who use screen readers, they can now interact with PDF. Optical character recognition (OCR) is leveraged to highlight, copy and find the text.
Finally, when using the college board’s bluebook test (SAT and AP exam) app on Chromebooks, Chromevox screen reader, dictation and other accessibility tools will work.
