Blizard has announced a roadmap for Diablo IV, as hatred for the rest of the year continues, with the next major expansion for Diablo IV for some time in 2026.
Diablo IV started 2025 with the current season, season of Vichaft, which will end this month, the baton will be picked up in Belial’s return season. This will be followed by the sins of the Horadrim season, and then the closure of the year will be the Infinal Caos season.
Each limited update will bring a new set of updates that players can grab the game with a permanent addition of the game, such as the new Lyer Boss coming in Belil’s return season, and the new grief dungeon activities in the sins of the Horadrim season.
The latter will also occur when the players on the console will be able to plug into their keyboard and mouse setup, as the support for that control scheme on the console will come for some time in this summer. Belial’s return season and Infinal Caos season will also have new cooperation with other series, and will probably have some special ad-on facility in the past as Blizard Diablo IV will celebrate two years anniversary.
Of course, the new expansion that comes in 2026 will be the one that brings the most changes in the game when it comes next year. The first major expansion for Diablo IV, Hatred vessel, fell less than a year after the original release of the game. This new expansion is furthering the difference between that time, so it will be interesting to see how players react to it, once they see how big, or small, it is from the previous one.
For now, the new Diablo IV expansion will include the leaderboard and a new ranking system. According to the roadmap image, the icy storm is shown, it is all about what we know about the expansion, which you can see for yourself.
