In a long report today, underlining his wwdc 2025 expectations, BloombergMark Gurman shared more details About new design about iOS 26.

According to Gurman, iOS 26 will have a “digital glass” design inspired by the operating system visionos for Apple’s Vision Pro headset. This is a famous rumor so far, but he provides some more specific details, as listed below:

Light and transparency will be used more.
The app icon will be designed again, but he does not expect them to be round.
With focus on the pop-out menu, the toolbar and tab will be designed again.
The home screen widget is re -designed to match the new “digital glass” look.
The safari will have a more transparent, glassy address bar.
Design changes like glass should be extended to the camera app, which will be modified with focus on simplicity.

Design changes are expected to grow up to iPados 26, Macos 26, TVOS 26, and Watchos 26.

Apple will announce the iOS 26 and other software updates in just three days from now during its WWDC 2025 Kenote, which will be closed at Pacific time at 10 am on Monday, June 9. The first iOS 26 beta should be given to developers immediately after Kenot, and the possibility of update will be released to the general public in September.
