Wired charging is always faster than wireless because less energy is lost in a direct connection, so having a power bank that supports both wireless and wired charging is the best of both worlds. Both Anker Zolo and Baseus Nomos can charge an iPhone via cable at 30W, with the Nomos being the fastest to recharge: 15W (Qi2) vs Anker’s 7.5W (MagSafe compatible).
However, Anker performed better in our recharging tests, scoring 190%: it fully recharged the iPhone 16 Pro once and then up to 90%, essentially filling the iPhone battery almost twice. In our tests, Baseus still achieved a respectable 166%.
The decision between two high-capacity 10000mAh (10K) power banks comes down to Anker’s higher recharge return vs Baseus’s faster but slightly lower return. This Rapid products truly deserve its moniker not just only for its speed running dual modes of 15 Watts wireless output and 30 Watts wired power output but also for the unbelievable ability to refuel itself at 65 Watts input rate! This means it will fully charge faster than any other portable power bank we tested.
By comparison, Anker’s input speed is 20W, and Baseus’s is 30W. When using the USB-C port to charge a device, RAPID prioritizes stable, efficient wired charging by turning off wireless charging (Qi2) to maximize 10k power output. It can charge two devices concurrently with USB-C. It supports pass-through charging, meaning you can charge one device while charging the power bank. While wirelessly charging, its 5W charging rate is further limited when charging via USB-C.
Design
The EcoFlow Rapid has a built-in USB-C cable, hidden away back down in the power bank. Having a built-in cable means you don’t have to worry about bringing one along. Of course, wireless charging means no cable is needed for charging the power bank, but for the fastest output speed, the USB-C cable proves most effective. This also means you don’t have to remember the cable when recharging the power bank since it can be used for both power in and out.
It also has an additional USB-C port so you can charge more than one device at a time. Both Anker and Baseus power banks have such a port.
The EcoFlow Rapid is slightly larger than its closest competitors:

To get maximum power and top speed, you might have to compromise with the larger size. While it doesn’t seem that big in terms of basic dimensions, the Rapid feels quite large in hand. However, it will still fit in your pocket, and the 40g difference isn’t too heavy.
If you’re really after a slimmer power bank, you should consider a smaller 5000mAh (5K) battery pack instead. Luckily, EcoFlow Rapid has a 5K model, which scored 70% in our recharge test. This is the first 5K power bank we’ve reviewed that includes a built-in USB-C cable and has 30W input and output. The 10K model charges faster but offers more top-up capacity.
The EcoFlow Rapid looks stylish with its gray body and mirrored smart TFT display, a feature that Zolo and Nomos lack, as they both only have a simple LED series to indicate remaining battery charge. The Rapid’s display shows its remaining battery charge with an easy-to-read digital counter and is accurate to the hundredth of a percentage point.
You can customize the display with a dedicated app, choose to see charging speed, power output, and even customize the screen with your name or pattern.
Buzzing Location
This is the first power bank we’ve tested that includes a location tool. It’s not as sophisticated as Apple’s Find My, and it won’t locate the power bank on a map. Instead, with the EcoFlow app’s Find My Device function, you can locate your lost power bank by its built-in buzzer.

The EcoFlow Rapid 10K Magnetic Power Bank costs $89.99 / £89.99. While the Anker Zolo is priced at just $49.99 / £49.99, remember that its wireless charging rating is just 7.5W compared to Rapid’s 15W. The Baseus Nomos is priced almost the same as the Rapid.
If you’re willing to sacrifice some battery capacity for a slimmer design but still want 15W output and a built-in USB-C cable, the EcoFlow Rapid 5K Magnetic Power Bank is $20 / £20 cheaper. It has 65W super-speed input (instead of 30W) but lacks the location finder. Still, it’s a great slim power bank that can run a phone all day.
