While Samsung is clearly planned to use its exinos chips in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 for the first time, the company will still use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite in the foldable US version.
The last few months have been far ahead, but at this point it is clearly clear that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be the first foldable of Samsung using the exinos processor. This was a step that would include All Flip versions, but the latest reporting otherwise suggests.
preyA Korean media outlet reports that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will use a Snapdragon 8 elite processor in North America, including the US, while the device version of the device sold in Korea will use an exinos 2500 chipset (H/T). @Jukanlosreve,
As mentioned on several occasions earlier, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will still use Snapdragon 8 Elite globally.
Samsung is set to launch its new foldables in July.
