Gboard rolls the redesign of emoji and gif picker on Android

After the beta test begins last month, Gboard for Android is now rolling emoji, GIF, and sticker picker redesign to stable users.

The primary change is for navigation below. On the left, “ABC” is placed in a pill, while emoji, GIF, stickers and emoticons are placed in round rectangles. These containers are slightly wide, and most likely will not fit into the same screen. He said, you can still tap for the last time without scrolling.
