iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 are now considered vintage

Apple updated her vintage today and Obsolete product list To add those devices that will now get more limited service and repair that they are considered old.

The iPhone 7 Plus and the two ‌iphoneion 8 models are now considered vintage. Apple added 64GB and 256GB ofiphone, 8 models in the list, but it is worth noting that the 128GB model is not yet included as it was sold for a longer period. (Product) Red iphoneion 8 models were already on the vintage list.

A tool is considered a “vintage” when it was finally distributed for sale. Apple Retail Store and Apple Authorized Services Providers (AASPS) are still capable of repairing vintage devices, but only if the necessary parts are available. If the parts are not able to achieve, then the ‌iphoneion 7 plus and ‌iphoneion 8 users may not be able to get repairs.

Apple transferred iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 2 to the obsolete list from the vintage list. Apple’s devices are considered “obsolete” seven years after the final available for sale. Apple Store and AASPs do not repair products that are obsolete and parts are no longer provided by Apple.
