Openi Announced today The release of the new O3 and O4-Mini AI models, which the company says is its smartest model. O3 and O4-Mini can use and combine all Chatgpt tools, including web discoveries, analysis of files and data with python, arguments about visual input, and generating images.
The model has been trained to better understand and answer when and how to use various devices to provide detailed and intensive information to the model. They are capable of “thinking” with images, visual and textual logic.
O3 Excel on coding, mathematics, science and visual perception, and Openai says that it is ideal for complex questions where an answer is not immediately clear, and it specializes in visual functions such as analyzing charts and graphics.
O4-Mini is a small model that is adapted to quick and cost-efficient logic, and is ideal for mathematics, coding and visual functions. This supports higher use limits than O3. Both new models are designed to be more natural and conjunctive, offering more useful and verificationable reactions.
Chatgpt Plus, Pro, and Team users are available as O3, O4-Mini, and O4-Mini-High today, replacing O1, O3-Min and O3-Mini-High. Free users are able to try O4-Mini using the “Think” option in the composer when depositing the query. The rate limits remain the same.
