Doom, a series likely, is considered dead during its twelve years intervals (not involving re-reliefs) between Doom 3 and 2016 doom reboots. The success of doom, after the release of the infinity of doom, means that it was unavoidable that a new release would come. I did not expect that direction of that direction, which is doom: comes in the dark era.
Except for the multiplayer and selecting for a pure single-oriented and focused experience, doomfully takes the dark edge series somewhere different and slightly medieval.
Qayamat: The Dark Age is a prequel to doom (2016) and the doom is infinite. This focuses on an earlier infiltration of hell and explains why the doom slayers are that. The long story short, the marks had essentially seen him as his slave-hostel, until he needed him, he was trapped, just pointing to the demons he was killed. The series is not really sometimes sometimes, and I am not going to show off that it is now anyway, but I like what they have done here.
Despite its general lack of depth, Doom Slair is a surprisingly good character. In the previous games, you can fully understand what he was thinking in every situation, and this idea is essentially “kill the demons, F- everything else”. While he is already in this frame of the mind, you will get to see your more time during the invasion of Argentina de’S Noor, under the control of Mackier. You will meet more characters than any other title in the series (which I remember). While Vidya was re -accused to read the Codex entries in the previous sports, here you receive it through Cutscenes and other monologue. Qayamat Slair is still as vocal as usual.
I will not cover the story more to avoid spoiling, but I have enjoyed the change in the direction. It is despite my saying my doom in the eternal review that I do not care about the story in the game of doom.
Let’s be cruelly honest: Most people do not come in a doom game due to its story including Doom: The Dark Age. This, and a good one, is just a highly bloody and demonic cake. No, people come for gameplay, gorge fun items, and I will argue that it is fun. What can be a sticky point for some people, I do not care about a multiplayer mode deficiency. Most people know me enough that a multiplayer mode is usually a negative, not positive.
Multiplayer, Doom: The series instead of joining The Dark Age includes the longest campaign. In 22 different stages, each offers a good level of diversity, you will regularly do everything with run -end -gon doom action, hopping in an atalan -a huge humonoid war machine -or even riding in a dragon ride. Add a host of weapons, some returning, other new (including a flal, to stick to the theme of medieval-style), and you have an exciting gin gameplay of exciting demon-killing, which is still connected to the scuffle refinement trick to recreate your health and gunpowder. As a note, the traditional glory kills until it is not a boss, causing some people to be disappointed.
The actual run-and-gun gameplay seems more grounded than doom, close to Doom (2016). This is not to say that there is no verticality, but it is not that now it does not seem that it has the illusion of being a secret-plateformer. If you play the first game then there is nothing here that you will not get familiar. Every weapon and capacity are used by it; Each can be upgraded with various currencies and objects found throughout the game.
Like previous titles, weapons are kept well within the game, which means when you need one, it will be introduced with a quick tutorial. I recommend reading these because you can remember some bonus weapons that can bring. For example, one of the first can overcharge the energy shield of enemies, causing them to explode. Knowing additional effects and upgrading weapons to give them new ability can be extremely useful in your search to kill everything, which breathes anytime, and sometime breathes.
Despite my praise to return to a more horizontal gameplay, I have some criticisms. Ok, one. I do not like the dragon and nothing with it. This is good, but when I am flying a dragon, it should not be closed in a horizontal plane after closing on an enemy. I am flying a dragon with a gun. I want to be able to swoop and shoot, and I want to do a stretching run. It looks and it comes as it should be an aerial match, but the actual match does not seem like this.
This is not to say that it does not fit with the world or story, but there is a disconnect between what it is and how it feels. Especially when flying outside the match, which is free-flow. My views on this are not even other things, such as Atalan, which fit well with the rest of the game. It seems to be a slow moving, as expected from a huge make, but it does not seem that it should be something else. Di, I can imagine some people to be disappointed at a slow pace than the core gameplay.
Nevertheless, these are minor issues in the grand scheme. It is a long campaign, packed with goodness of doom, including mystery, codes entries, and more. The exploration, as usual, is rewarded. It exceptionly opens the game well at some levels, which gives you a huge map to play and to deal with the way you want. Increasing linearies gives a new experience many times, and it also works that you do not move back and fill some shares again if you have found that you are struggling in a fight.
It is all tied together with excellent view and audio. Now, it is a doom game, and it is 2025, saying that “the sun will rise in the morning”. I still cannot give enough emphasis that the aesthetics and design of doom: Dark edges are excellent, especially when you begin to move away from Argentina. Add normal metal refers to it, and you have found a successful, pulse-pounding action and blood-filled game.
So, all this is quite easily, doom: dark era is a good game – no, it is a very good game. I would suggest it to fans of style and those who want to have fun without the risk of transmitting anything through physiological fluids. There is a lot until we are talking about demon blood and courage. Door: dark edge is yet another success from ID software, and they can continue for a long time.

Dark Age
Qayamat: The Dark Edge is a rip-making funny ride that ruins some of the excesses of doom, which brings the gameplay closer to Doom (2016), while in twenty stages, a long, emotional, adds meat to the story in a long, emotional, campaign. Simply say, if you like doom and doom, you will like it, even if there are some minor misunderstandings.
- Outstanding runs and gun doom gameplay.
- Fantastic visual design and audio.
- A good, tall, soulful campaign.
- Great level designs, with some huge -scale fighting on points.
Professionals
- Dragon and Gundam section will not like Harbody, even boring.
- Glory Kill has gone through regular war.
