Now, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 is available at the lowest-ever price for the PlayStation and Xbox stores. Released in 2018 for the consoles of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption 2 won even more lauded praise from gamers and critics alike.

The Wild West adventure became a fan favorite due to its rich world and bold storytelling. Even seven years after its release, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still performing well in sales on Rockstar Games. Those who haven’t yet experienced Rockstar’s action-adventure game are in luck, as it’s currently available at its lowest price.

Players can purchase Red Dead Redemption 2 for $14.99 on the Xbox and PlayStation digital stores. This is currently the lowest price ever seen for the digital version of Rockstar’s epic Western game. Players have until March 4 to take advantage of this offer, after which the price will return to its original value. It must be declared that all these games are for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One; this is because Red Dead Redemption does not yet integrate with the current console generation.

That was the last time when the game was priced at $14.99, during some previous Steam sales. During this sale period, Rockstar Games observed that Red Dead Redemption 2 set a new player record on Steam. The recent surge in player numbers suggests that Rockstar is encouraging new players to experience Arthur Morgan’s crime-filled life.

While players can currently get Red Dead Redemption 2 at its lowest price, some gamers are eagerly awaiting news about Rockstar’s next title, Grand Theft Auto 6. The highly anticipated next entry in the long-running crime series has been in the works for over a decade and is scheduled for release in 2025. Fans got their first glimpse of the game on December 4, 2023. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive, has discussed Grand Theft Auto 6 in multiple interviews, but gamers have yet to see any additional updates or gameplay footage.

As gamers keep praying for news about GTA 6, Rockstar has decided to drop teasers for an upcoming title. Recently, a blog post referred Grand Theft Auto 6 through newly released promotional images for Red Dead Redemption 2. Furthermore, the post highlighted a scene from the GTA 6 highly-anticipated reveal trailer where two thugs, similar to the in-game character, were holding up a store.
