Samsung has finally dropped the ball with the Android 15 rollout for its flagship Galaxy devices. The company had been running the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series since the beginning of December 2024, but after four beta builds and three months of testing, the stable release still wasn’t anywhere to be seen. Meanwhile, the company has launched several mid-range Galaxy phones that come with One UI 7 out of the box. Now, Samsung has provided an official release timeline for One UI 7’s public availability, extending the beta program to more devices.
Unlike the previous years, Samsung’s One UI 7 beta program had been limited to the Galaxy S24 series for all these months. But that’s changing now. Samsung has announced that by the end of this week, it will roll out the Android 15 beta build for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in the US, UK, India, and Korea.
The Galaxy S23 series, the Tab S10 lineup, and even the Galaxy A55 will receive the One UI 7 beta build by the end of this month. As always, there will be limited slots for the beta program, so make sure to sign up through the Samsung Members app as soon as it becomes available. Once live, you’ll find a banner in the app allowing you to enroll.
Stable One UI 7 to Begin in April

The beta program for these devices will be relatively short, as Samsung has stated that it will release the stable One UI 7 build to the public in April. While Samsung hasn’t provided an exact release date, past leaks suggest that the firmware will arrive by mid-April. So, if you’re using one of the recently launched flagship Galaxy phones, you can expect to receive your first fully stable Android 15 update.
The Galaxy S22 lineup and other mid-range Samsung phones will get their stable One UI 7 builds in May. In addition to smooth system animations, redesigned quick settings panels, and new icons, One UI 7 is expected to bring new Galaxy AI features to Samsung’s older flagships. Rumors also suggest that some features from the Galaxy S25, such as the Audio Eraser, might be available on older Galaxy devices as well.
