According to a new report, next year’s Galaxy Tab S11 series is going to upgrade some battery, at least for the largest model, while revives the “base” model.
Galaxy Reported that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra battery will increase by about 500 mAh, the first upgrade in some generations. The new battery will have a rated capacity of 11,374 mAh, which is likely to be around 11,700 mAh or slightly higher. The current tab S10 Ultra (and some of its predecessors) has a rated capacity of 10,880 mAh, which is advertised as 11,200 mAh.
Then, this is the first battery upgrade after the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the first of Samsung’s super-shaped tablets.
The report also claimed that Samsung is again planning only two Galaxy Tab S11 devices, but this time with a “base” model with super-shaped ultra. This small device will have the same battery size as the Galaxy Tab S9 did at a rated capacity of 8,160 mAh (advertised as 8,400 mAh).
It is not clear how this will affect the “fan edition” lineup, as Samsung released a total of four tablets this year, with the offering screen sizes of tab S10 Fe, which includes a small, which was not covered by the Galaxy Tab S10+ or Tab S10 Ultra.
A release date is also unknown, but the tab S10 series launched in September.
