Sony is Announced Its new WH-1000xm6 wireless noise headphone. The good news is that the company has brought back the foldable design that is absent from its predecessor, WH-1000xm5. The bad news is that it is stuck with the same naming conference, which seems less like a headphone and is more like a dot-matrix printer since the 70s.
The-1000xm6 headphone now happily bends in a re-designed case with a magnetic closure instead of a zipper, making it more compact and traveling more than the XM5. Otherwise, the overall aesthetics remains largely unchanged, but Sony claims that the new model improves the noise significantly, a better environment sound (transparency) mode, and enhanced audio quality.
Powering increased noise cancellation is Sony’s new HD noise canceling processor QN3, which works with an expanded array of 12 microphones – 1.5 times more than the previous model. The company says that this processor is seven times faster than its predecessor, allowing for more accurate real -time noise optimization.
Sony has also introduced several new software features, including visual-based hearing, which automatically adjusts the settings based on your activity and environment. Headphones also support le audio with Auracast for listening capabilities.
The battery life remains unchanged from the-1000xm5 in 30 hours, although Sony notes that a three-minute quick charge provides time to hear for three hours. You can also charge this model and listen to your music at the same time.
Sony says it has collaborated to fix better sound profiles with recording engineers of prestigious studios including Sterling Sound, Battery Studios, and Coast Mastering.
