The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are set to debut soon, and reports indicate that Samsung will launch them at the same price point as the previous generation.
It is not completely clear whether Samsung, or any other OEM for that case, will increase the price of its equipment when the next generation comes around. The Galaxy S25 series was launched with equal value points for each device as the Galaxy S24 series, even though it was expected that the next generation of Galaxy devices would be introduced at high cost.
According to a post Twitter/X From @Pandaflashpro, the Galaxy Z fold 7 and Z flip 7 can be launched at the same price in most areas such as Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The post note that the price increase will be seen in “some” countries, so changes are clearly in the table. Unfortunately, it cannot be dismissed that Samsung will not increase prices at the last minute.

This rumor does not take into account the possibility of additional tariffs. At one point, President Trump announced that Samsung equipment would be subject to 25% of tariffs made abroad and would be sold in the US. It is not clear whether the speed will stick or not, although it can mean an increase in a possible price of about 30–40%.
The above rumor disregards this, and in the event that there are no tariffs, Samsung is allegedly not planned to increase the price of its next-gene foldable. Nevertheless, the introduction of tariffs may mean that Samsung passes the cost on customers.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are expected to be launched during summer. The announcement aligns with rumors that foldable phones will be announced in July.
