US President Donald Trump today said that he is signing an executive order to run Tikok for an additional 75 days as his administration continues to work on the sale of American operations of social networks.

Tiktok was stopped from working in the United States when protected Americans were implemented on 19 January, but Trump ordered the Department of Justice not to enforce the law for a period of 75 days. The window was set to end on Saturday, April 5, if Tikok did not reach a deal to sell an American company, but Tiktok now has another two and a half months of two and a half months.

Trump said on his true social network that his administration has made “tremendous progress” on a deal to “save” Tikok, but needs more work. Rumors suggests that Trump’s team is considering proposals of companies like Oracle and Perplexity, as well as Jimmy Donaldson (also known as MRBISS), shark tank Host Kevin O’Lery, Employer.com founder JC Tinsley and billionaire Frank McCort. Amazon also made a proposal this week.

Tickek original company Bidens has stated that it does not plan to sell Tiktok, and China also does not agree to a deal, but Trump believes that tariffs can be used for leverage. It is possible that Trump will aim for an agreement that involves bringing many American investors with the Tikokok algorithm, but it is not yet clear whether it will meet the requirements of the law.
