US President Donald Trump plans to expand Lump Tikokok Ban for another 75 days so far, report The Wall Street JournalIt will mark the third extension since Trump took over in January.
The second extension given by Trump is ready to end on June 19, and it appears that there is no progress towards a deal with China, so Tikokk needs a third counter to continue operations in the United States.
Tikokkok was banned in the US after protecting Americans after saving the Foreign Adverse Control Application Act on 19 January, but Trump has ordered the US justice department not to implement the law at present.
Since January, Trump has been working to wrestle the operation of Tiktok from Chinese control by establishing American ownership. Trump’s team has considered the proposals of Oracle, Perplexity and Amazon, as well as Jimmy Donaldson (known as MRbeast), Shark Tank Host Kevin O’Lary, founder Jessie Tinsley and billionaire Frank McCort.
Trump needs to work with China to approve the Tiktok deal, and China is not collaborating due to the ongoing trade tension created by Trump’s tariff on Chinese goods.
Tikokok Continues available for download At this time. It is not yet clear when the app can see the US takeover, but with a continuous extension, this app is not in danger of being removed from the store.
