iOS 18.4 release: Everything is new here
This week Apple released iOS 18.4 to the general public, after a month of beta testing. While individual Siri features that were originally expected to debut in iOS 18.4, the software update still includes some new features and changes for iPhones, so be sure to check our list of everything.
Apple also released iPados 18.4, Macos 15.4, Watchos 11.4, TVOS 18.4, Visionos 2.4, and some other updates, and Iwork apps also got new features to Kenote, Numbers and Pages.
IOS 19 is rumored to leave support for these iPhones
A private account on X which has accurately shared the iOS 18 compatibility details last year, is back with a list of iPhone models that the iOS 19 will allegedly support.
Unlike iOS18, who maintained compatibility with the same iPhone model running iOS 17, the upcoming iOS 19 update expects to leave support for three old iPhone models, so to see if you make sure to check the list to see if the device you use.
The first iOS 19 beta must be available on 9 June, and the update should be released to the general public in September.
Apple releases new firmware for Max with blamed audio support
After a false alarm, Apple has followed with the release of AirPods Max firmware updates that enables support for defective audio and ultra low-altancy audio on over-ear headphones.
These features are available only with USB-C port on the new version of AirPods Max, with the old version of the headphone which are still missing these free upgrade.
Apple has allegedly not given on the Happy button for the future iPhone
Apple is still searching for a solid-state button with a hatiching response to future iphones, according to the information shared by a recently known leaker.
It was widely stated that Apple intended to introduce a solid-state button on the iPhone 15 Pro model in 2023, but it canceled the plan late on stage. The buttons were again rumored to the iPhone 16 Pro model, before she gave shelter indefinitely. They do not expect the iPhone 17 Pro model, but it seems that the project is still alive.
Everything new in iOS 18.5 beta
After the release of iOS 18.4 earlier this week, Apple has already gone to the next edition, first available for developers with iOS 18.5 beta. So far, the iOS 18.5 includes only a few minor changes, as mentioned in our list of everything ours.
The iOS 18.5 can achieve new features and other changes in later sons, but it is currently taking shape as a minor update, as Apple begins to focus its attention to iOS 19.
