No iOS 19: Apple is going directly to iOS 26
Here is a shocking rumor for less than two weeks from WWDC: Apple is allegedly going to overhaul the number convention that is allegedly used for its various operating systems, which unite them all under “26” branding to represent the coming year, such as how car manufacturers usually release their new models years in the previous year.
So say goodbye to what we thought is that iOS 19, iPados 19, McOS 16, TVOS 19, Watchos 12, and Visionos 3 are going to be there, because it seems that they are all being counted only “26”.

Incredibly, one of the biggest news stories of the week was the launch of the iPad-Unseen version of WhatsApp, which was more than 15 years after the messaging service started. WhatsApp launched the launch earlier this week, and released the app only a day later.
WhatsApp is now available for the iPad, now the other major app of Mata is still lacking on a native iPad app, Instagram.

While Apple’s highest-end M3 ultra chip is currently limited to Mac Studio, it appears that Apple also tested the chip in MacBook Pro.
On Chinese social media platform Bilibili, a user has claimed that IOS 18 has found code references for 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Ultra Chip, which is running on the iOS18 engineering prototype. Apple did not eventually release the M3 Ultra MacBook Pro, possibly on thermal and/or electricity concerns, but interesting to see that Apple clearly tested the chip as that form.
