Apple is preparing “major shake-up” for the 20th anniversary of iPhone in 2027 BloombergMark Gurman.

Writing in your own Latest power on newspaperGurman says that Apple plans to launch a foldable iPhone with a “bold” new iPhone Pro model that makes more wide use of glass.
Can this mean that Apple planned to feel the dream of former design chief Johnny Ive’s iPhone completely made of a glass aircraft? This is not known much, but if Apple planned to unveil something as the iPhone X, the iPhone was launched for the 10th anniversary in 2017, then it will have to do something special in the works.
For the iPhone X, Apple famous the home button in favor of a fully touch-based interface system, and changed the touch ID fingerprint sensor with face ID facial authentication.
For the model number that Apple would like to use for its 20th anniversary iPhone, it is difficult to say. Apple’s naming conferences vary over the years. If Apple continues its annual release pattern and numeric naming, the 2027 lineup will probably be the iPhone 19 series.
However, Apple has adjusted its naming to celebrate the first important milestone, such as skipping from the iPhone 8 to the iPhone X for the 10th anniversary. It is therefore possible that Apple may introduce “iPhone 20” or adopt a separate naming conference to celebrate the 20th anniversary. We have to wait and see.
Gurman has earlier stated that he hopes that next year Apple’s first book-style foldable iPhone will be released, so probably the “foldable version” that will probably be the second repetition of that model, or will be completely different version, perhaps, perhaps use a clam-shell design.
