The airplayay protocol running on Wi-Fi distributes better sound quality, including support for blameless compared to wireless speakers running on Bluetooth, but you will not be able to occupy that complete quality here due to the small size of the speaker.
The buttons on the node are simple, but work relatively well, with play/poses commands almost effective in all speakers when pressing the middle button on any node.
