The Galaxy S25 seems to follow the footsteps of the series and also prepare the QI2 support for the Galaxy Z fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Samsung has to adopt the appropriate Q2 yet, the way magnets include charger alignment and accessories. Rather, the company supports a new version of the standard, QI 2.1, which allows for “approved” cases to add magnets. The Galaxy S25 series brought this experience for the first time and as we mentioned earlier this week, it seems that the Galaxy Z fold 7 will do the same.

Now, another new Entry Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) confirmed that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also support the QE 2.1.0 standard, meaning that it will also be “Q2 ready”.

This listing refers to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 as the SM-A846U that does not align with the specific model numbers of Samsung. But it is like fold 7, because WPC refers to that device as SM-D637U, an unusual model number. We know that this is Flip 7, however, because the Galaxy Z is also Flip 5 Listed As SM-A822D.
