Apple will provide its Artificial Intelligence Model to the developers to use in their apps, reports BloombergThe company plans to introduce a new software development kit (SDK) in iOS 19, making it easier to add AI features for app creators.
SDK will have the same major language models that are using Apple Apple Intelligence features such as notification summary, writing tools, genmosy and image playground, but Apple will first focus on small models that are able to run on-devices.
Apple has faced criticism for its failure to give Aapple Intellation Teaths Siri features on time. Apple announced a new individual Osiri experience in WWDC 2024 and intended to release new capabilities as part of iOS 18, but the functionality was not ready on time and is now being held until IOS 19.
Some other characteristics of Apple, such as the tool and Aimage playground, have not been seen to adopt widely. As BloombergApple is hoping that opening their AI model for developers will give such cases that attract consumers better. Currently, developers can integrate the notification summary, writing equipment, oggenmoji, and inimage playgrounds in their apps, but they are not able to create new AI features using Apple’s framework. Instead, developers who want to include AI integrates third -party models, which aims to replace Apple.
Apple’s AI announcements will come to the Worldwide Developers Conference, which is scheduled to be held on Monday, June 9.
Apple is also working on the in-house large language model (LLMS), and eventually the company plans to introduce a version of the company that depends on LLMS and is more like chats, clouds and other chatbots. The LLM version of siri has not been required as soon as possible by 2026, and it will probably be part of the iOS 20.
