We’ve known for some time that Apple plans to finally remove the home button and large bezels on its next iPhone SE model, but we were never completely sure about how the budget phone would look. However, thanks to a recent leak by Evan Blass, we now have our first look at the final design of the new model.

On Monday, Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared two images on X. The first image is mostly blurry, but it lists the model names of four unreleased and unannounced Apple devices: iPhone SE (4th Gen), iPad (11th Gen), iPad Air 13 (M3), and iPad Air 11 (M3).

A few hours later, he released the alleged official renders for all four devices.

The image doesn’t reveal much that we didn’t already know, but the render of the iPhone SE 4 confirms that the budget model will feature Dynamic Island instead of a notch (also referred to as “sensor housing”). As MacRumors noted, there have been conflicting reports about this detail in recent months, but this could put any doubts to rest.

While Blass doesn’t address it directly, his leak also dismisses the rumor that the next-generation iPhone SE might be called the iPhone 16E. Of course, there’s a chance that the name in the source code is just a placeholder, but in any case, this leak casts doubt on that rumor.

Leaving names aside, the fact that this leak came just hours after Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in his newsletter that “US stores have very little to no inventory left of the iPhone SE” suggests that news about the iPhone SE 4 may be coming soon.
