According to a new report, Samsung is bringing Kaj upgrade on its Galaxy Z fold 7 and “tri-folded” device, but the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will sit out.
Alec Reports Samsung is planning to use the titanium to upgrade the hinge found in the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, which the company brings up the power upgrade to allow a very thin profile to aim with this device. For similar reasons, the “TRAI-folded” device (rumor to be called Galaxy G fold) will get the same Kaj upgrade.
The report claims, however, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will not implement the same changes, as the flip phone is not getting any thinner. Motorola, in particular, applies a new titanium hustle on the 2025 RAZR series.
Earlier, Samsung used a stainless steel hinge for all its foldables. This first introduced the titanium with last year’s Galaxy Z Fold SE, which Fold 7 has heavy to its various reforms.
Samsung is set to launch its new foldables in July, although the “three-fold” is expected to come later.
