The iPhone 16E is one of Europe’s top-bound smartphone, yet its initial sales figures are still far behind Apple’s previous mid-tier model, according to, according to, according to, Counter -protest research,
Iphone 16E launched in February, marking the company’s first attempt in recent years to redefine its middle-range Prasad with its “SE” branding separate products. Despite making debuts in Europe’s top 10 smartphone list throughout its first month of availability, the model failed to match the initial traction of its predecessors.
Counterpoint research has found that in March, the Ninth was the best -selling smartphone in Europe, which was 8% of Apple’s total iPhone sales in the region and 2% of the comprehensive smartphone market. In Western Europe, the device performed a little better, with a total of seventh position.
However, the initial performance of the iphone 16E has marked a clear departure from the success of the Oiphonee SE model which was earlier. The third generation of iphoney SE finished sixth in the same European Bestseller list during its first month from 2022 and finished 12% of Apple’s regional iphone.
From 2020, the second generation of the second -generation SE performed even more strongly, finished third in total and became 19% of Apple’s European Offiphoneion sales in its debut month. Compared to these benchmarks, the iphone 16E, sales 17% vs. iphone se (2022) and 20% below 20% were below 20% compared to SE (2020).
Unexpectedly, the primary reason identified for a weak start of iphone 16E is its high launch price. 16e starts at € 699 ($ 599) in Europe. This is a significant growth at iphone h (2022), which began at € 519 ($ 429), and at iphonee se (2020), which launched at € 479 ($ 399).
Additionally, the middle-level smartphone market in Europe is rapidly value-sensitive; Consumers are refurbished and enhancing interest in the other hand iPhones, which further complicates the apple’s efforts to run the volume through the new mid-range hardware.
