It has been three weeks since Apple released iOS 18.5, and we are still waiting to follow the iOS 18.6 beta.
Below, we underline what we know about iOS 18.6 so far.
Time
Apple’s software engineers are internal testing iOS 18.6, since the end of March, according to Marasters Visitor log.
The first bets of iOS 13.6 through iOS 16.6 was released before WWDC in all years, while the first iOS 17.6 beta was released a week after WWDC last year, so it is difficult to pinpoint properly when the first iOS 18.6 beta is available.

The iOS 18.6 will probably be released by mid -July.
Apple is expected to announce iOS 26 in WWDC 2025 next week instead of iOS 19 as part of a new software version number scheme. The first beta of iOS 26 should be kept with developers immediately after Apple’s Keenote on Monday 9 June, and the possibility of update will be released to the general public in September.

BloombergMark Gurman hopes that iOS 18.6, Alibaba and Baidu prepared to fulfill some characteristics of that country to enable Apple Intelligence in China.
The iOS 18.6 is likely to include bug fixes and patch security weaknesses.
It is not clear whether there will be any other change in the update. With iOS 26 beta around the corner, iOS 18.6 is likely to be a minor update.
