Ipad comes more than 15 years after the commencement of support messaging service. In September, Meta launched the beta test WhatsApp for ipad through Testflight.
Whatsapp allows users of the encrypted messaging platform to link four devices to their account, even when their main smartphone is not connected to the Internet. Each linked device connects independently of WhatsApp, ensuring that individual messages, media and calls are end-to-end encrypted.
Apart from WhatsApp, Meta is the owner of Facebook, Threads and Instagram. There is a Capad app for Facebook, but the Threads app remains only the iPhone. An Instagram app for iPad is allegedly in functions.
