Apple calendar app confirmed by Job Posting

A new Apple Job Listing has given more evidence that the company is working on a major overhaul of its calendar app.

The job list provides more references for the acquisition of Apple’s Meedy Labs in April 2024. According to our report earlier this month, the Canadian startup developed an AI-managed calendar app that was automatically determined at the optimal time of events and functions.

The features of the Made included a “calendar shield”, which would suggest the ideal focus time that was overbook schedule and AI-operated task scheduling. The app can also identify scheduling conflicts and provides re -prescribed recommendations.

The Mayed app was discontinued immediately after the acquisition, suggesting that the AI ​​capabilities of the startup may occur on the surface within their own calendar app of Apple under Apple Intelligence Umbrella.

More than a year has passed after the acquisition, so perhaps some of these changes will begin as IOS 19, iPados 19, and MacoS 16, which will be unveiled next month at Apple’s annual developers conference Conference WWDC.
