AI company Anthropic today announced the launch of two new cloud models, Cloud Ops 4 and Cloud Sonnet 4. Anthropic states that models set “new standard, advanced arguments and AI agents” for coding.

According to Anthropic, Cloud Sonnet 4 is an important upgrade for cloud sonnet 3.7, which offers better coding and argument with the ability to respond to instructions. Cloud Opus 4 is designed for coding between other functions, and it offers continuous performance for complex, long -running functions and agent workflows.

Cloud Opus 4 is the most powerful model of anthropic to date, and is the world’s best coding model with a 72.5 percent score on Swe-Bench and 43.2 percent score on terminal-bench. This can provide continuous performance for several hours on the tasks that have thousands of steps.

Cloud Sonnet 4 is designed to balance performance and efficiency. This does not match Opus 4 for most domains, but anthropic says it is to provide an optimal mixture of capacity and practicality.

Both models have a beta feature for extended thinking, and can use web search and other equipment to be alternate between cloud logic and equipment use. The tool can be used in parallel, and models improve memory when provided with access to local files. The cloud is capable of maintaining continuity and saving the major facts to create knowledge over time.

Anthropic has cut the behavior where models use shortcuts or flaws to complete tasks, and the thinking summary thinks long -term thought processes.

The cloud code, an agent coding tool that lives in the terminal, is now widely available after the test. Cloud code supports background functions with github actions and native integration with VS code and jetbrains, and is capable of editing files and fixing bugs, answering questions about the code, and much.

Subscribers with Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise Cloud Plan have access to Cloud Ops 4 and Cloud Sonnet 4 starting today, while Sonnet 4 is available for free users. Models are available for developers on anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud Wartax AI.
