Microsoft today shared a new advertisement on YouTube with the tagline “We are faster than a Mac.”
In the video, Microsoft says that top-end Windows PC with Copilot+ branding, M3 chip with the previous generation McBook Air is faster than 58%, based on the Cinebench 2024 Multi-Core CPU benchmark results. This advertisement is citing old figures which were reported back all the way in May 2024, so take the same as you want.
While the advertisement is using an old MacBook air for comparative purposes, Microsoft’s Fine Print It is said that some Kopilot+ PCs are still faster than the latest MacBook air model with M4 chip, based on the same cinebench 2024 benchmark.
Some Copilot+ PCs included Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite Processor with Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7X, Snapdragon X Elite with Microsoft’s surface laptop and AMD’s Renzen AI9HX 375 with HP’s Omnibuk Alla.
While it is true that some PC chips are faster than apple silicon chips in some tests, Apple Said The M4 family of the chips offers a watt industry-performance performance. As a result of this impressive power efficiency, MacBook Air has a rapid performance, long battery life and a thin and mild design without internal fan.
Finally, using Windows on MACOS remains a Delicker, regardless of some customers.
