Fortnite OG Season 2

It’s almost the same time… once again. Tilted Towers makes its triumphant return in Fortnite OG Season 2. Get ready to dive into the most famous and beloved location in Fortnite as if it’s your very first time again.

Epic Games is taking players through all the original seasons of the game, filled with old maps and the many changes it’s gone through over the months and years. Season 1 has been a huge hit, and Season 2 promises to be even better. Keep reading to find out about the upcoming season, including when Season 1 ends, server downtime, and when you’ll get to experience a new version of one of Fortnite’s best maps.

What’s New in Season 2?

Along with the return of Tilted Towers, Season 2 of the original game introduces small shield potions. Tilted isn’t the only newly named location, and the Season 2 map will also feature:

When Does Season 1 End and When Does Season 2 Start?

Fortnite OG Season 1 will end on Thursday, January 30, though it’s unclear exactly when the servers will go down. At this time, you only have a few hours left to finish the Season 1 Battle Pass and complete any other challenges you want to tackle.

We don’t have an exact start time for Season 2, but we do know when Season 1 launched, so it’s likely Epic will stick to the same schedule. If that’s the case, here’s when Season 2 will go live on Friday, January 31:

  • 6:00 AM PST (North America West Coast)
  • 9:00 AM EST (North America East Coast
  • 2:00 PM GMT (UK)
  • 3:00 PM CET (Western Europe)
  • 11:00 PM JST (Japan)
  • 1:00 AM AEDT on Saturday, February 1 (Australia East Coast)

If there’s any new info about Fortnite OG Season 2 before tomorrow, I’ll update this post. I’m hoping Epic Games brings back the old-school challenges that made the early seasons of the game so fun. Finding secret loading screens, hidden treasures, and all the creative challenges that were once part of the game was a blast, but it’s been years since such things were a big part of the popular battle royale. Still, it will be fun to go back to Tilted, get involved in gunfights at Haunted Hills and Shifty Shafts, and explore everything the game has to offer.
